Establishing his own architect office in 2008 at Tokyo after working at the architect office in Berlin, architect Yusuke Koshima continues to energetically widen his range of activities.
Designing home integrated aikido gym for Tatsuru Uchida (philosopher/martial artist) in 2011, he made a sensational debut being selected for SD Review 2011.
Later on, he also completed the interior design for "Red Bull Japan Office" in Aoyama, Tokyo.
He has published books such as "Urban Landscape Fantasia -Drawing collection of architect Yusuke Koshima-" (2012/Hatori Press), "House for everybody -Grade one architects' first design-" (Artes Publishing/2012), "Architectual knight-errantry -Afternoon in Berlin-" (East Press/2013) and "10 best architectures around the world to see before you die" (X-Knowledge/2014) one after another.
Nowadays he draws illusrtations for the newspaper column by Tatsuru Uchida, writes serial article in the art magazine and even participates in TV programme as a MC.
Chosen as the official exhibition navigator of "Takehiko Inoue Interprets Gaudi's Universe", he is the young architect most noted by various media of Japan.
Since his first solo exhibition two years ago, we are holding the second solo exhibition by Yusuke Koshima, who continues to draw Urban Landscape Fantasia.
In this exhibition, drawings, silkscreens from 2013 and new works on Japanese paper will be on display.

Yusuke KOSHIMA (1979-)
Registered architect.
Born 1979 in New Jersey, USA.
Returned to Japan in 1987 and since then, grew up in Canada (Tronto), England (Manchester) and Tokyo. Graduated from Waseda University in 2004.
In the same year started architect career at Sauerbruch Hutton Architekten, the architect studio in Berlin.
In 2008, he returned to Japan and established Yusuke Koshima Architecture Studio.
Inaugurated as a part-time lecturer at Kuwasawa Design School in 2010, and at Nihon University Junior College in 2011.
