Besides his work as an editor and critic, Mr. U, long active in the world of architecture, has also written art essays and exhibition reviews, and has been active as a collector as well.

This time, 24 works by 21 artists from Mr. U's personal collection have been selected to display at Watanuki Ltd. They will be sold in an auction format.

■An auction list with specific work details will be sent by mail.
The minimum bidding price will not be posted online.
Those interested in the detailed list may email us with your name and address.
In return we will e-mail you the list.

E-mail: info@tokinowasuremono.com

■The auction will be held with the low-risk "median bid method".
The customer with the highest bid will win the auction, with the median price between the highest and the second highest bid as the final price.
For example, if the highest bid is 200,000 yen and the second highest bid is 100,000 yen, the final price will be 150,000 yen.
If there is only one bidder, the final price will be the median between the single bidders bid and the minimum starting bid.
This method was decided with comfortable, low-risk bidding in mind.

■Bids will be accepted in person (at the gallery) or through e-mail.

■ Deadline for bidding:Dec 11 (Sat.) 19:00 (Japan local time)
