Born 1927 in Tokyo, Baba graduated from Waseda Middle School. He participated in the "Shun’yokai" artists association and the Japan Print Association (Nihon Hanga Kyokai). |

Mostly lithographs, Baba’s works reflect on the marvelous worlds of the circus and amusement parks. His imaginative approach, full of narrative detail, gained him quite a following in Japan. He died in 1994. |
