Yousuf KARSH

"Being photgraphed by Karsh is proof that you're a celebrity in this world". Yousuf Karsh (1908-2002) established a studio in Ottwa, Canada in 1932. After taking portraits of politicians, entered the world of photo journalism.

1941, gained worldwide recognition for his portrait of Winston Churchill which became the cover of Life magazine. Photographed many famous people including Albert Einstein, Ernest Hemingway, and Audrey Hepburn.
