Unoki Kenji (born 1948) graduated in 1971 from the Interior Design Course at Tama Art University. He then joined J. Osawa Group Co., Ltd., where he was responsible for the business relationships with the German state-of-the-art furniture makers Interlübke and Poggenpohl. In 1989, Unoki founded Satis Design. His approach to marketing and design centers on

private and commercial spatial design, system kitchens, and he designs the catalogs of interior design and architecture studios. Unoki teaches interior coordination, and as a writer has been prolific in publications such as the magazine “Indoor” (Shitsunai). He also provides PR services to interior design companies.
