Shinpey OZAKI (1987-)

Born in Sendai in 1987. Graduated Iwate University Faculty of Education Department of Visual Culture Production Course. His work depicts the resonance between the landscape of the contemporary Tohoku region and the myths and historical memory that that landscape invokes. Ozaki was awarded at the "VOCA 2016 the future of contemporary art - new 2D artists" exhibition by the Ohara Museum of Art. He was recognized at the 27th Iwate Prefecture Art Awards.
