Toki-no-Wasuremono is a gallery and editorial office that specializes in works by modern and contemporary artists, including architects. Our collection includes oil paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, sculptures, and objets d’art. As a publisher, we produce original editions of prints and multiples, and are also involved in editing and publishing of art books, catalogues, and exhibition materials. Toki-no-Wasuremono Timeline
1993 Watanuki Co., Ltd. was established.
1995 The gallery “Toki-no-Wasuremono” opened at 3-3-3 Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
2002 A temporary office was set up at “Palais Royal Minami-Aoyama Room 506
(5-4-6 Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku)” during building reconstruction.
2003 A new wooden structure, “Aoyama Cube”, designed by Tamio Ota, was completed
at the original location (3-3-3 Minami-Aoyama), and gallery operations resumed.
2017 The gallery relocated from Aoyama to LAS CASAS, a building designed by Tsutomu Abe,
at 5-4-1 Honkomagome, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo.
