◆ジョナス・メカス展～ときの忘れものＷＥＢ展覧会

◆ジョナス・メカス（Jonas MEKAS）

1922年リトアニア生まれ。ソ連次いでナチス・ドイツがリトアニアを占領。強制収容所に送られるが、45年収容所を脱走、難民キャンプを転々とし、49年アメリカに亡命。16ミリカメラで自分の周りの日常を日記のように撮り始める。65年『営倉』がヴェネツィア映画祭で最優秀賞受賞。83年初来日。89年NYにアンソロジー・フィルム・アーカイヴズを設立。2005年ときの忘れものの個展のために4度目の来日。
